節日慢煮鍋極品瘦肉豬扒以慢煮鍋燜煮瘦豬扒,加入蘋果、番薯、紅蘿蔔、杏桃同果醬同煮。
喺爐上用鑊快速將豬扒煎至半熟,然後放入慢煮鍋。
First, quickly braise the pork chops in a pan on your stove. Once braised, transfer them to your crockpot.
加水至剛好蓋過豬扒,多餘嘅水留喺旁邊備用。蓋好鍋蓋,將慢煮鍋調至中火,煮1至1.5小時。
Add just enough water to cover the chops, setting aside any excess. Cover the crockpot and set it to medium heat. Let the chops cook for 1 to 1½ hours.
豬扒喺慢煮鍋煮緊嘅時候,將蘋果去皮、去芯並切四份,放喺旁邊備用。
While the chops are cooking in the crockpot, peel, core, and quarter the apples. Set them aside.
將白番薯去皮,切成適合大小,放喺蘋果旁邊備用。
Peel and chop the white sweet potatoes to your desired size. Place them with the apples.
將乾蔥洗淨,切去根部同枯萎嘅青色頂部。
Wash the shallots, then chop off their root ends and any wilted green tops.
繼續處理乾蔥,切成小粒,連新鮮嘅青色頂部一起切。
Continue chopping the shallots into small pieces, making sure to include the fresh green tops.
將芹菜切去根部同頂部。
Chop off both the root and leafy tops of the celery stalks.
如果用大紅蘿蔔,切去根部,切成適合大小。如果用迷你紅蘿蔔,洗淨半包。將紅蘿蔔(切件或迷你)放入慢煮鍋。
If you bought full-sized carrots, chop off their root ends and cut them into an appropriate size. If using baby carrots, wash half the bag. Add either the chopped full-sized carrots or the washed baby carrots to the crockpot.
將波多貝羅蘑菇洗淨並切好。
Clean and chop the Portobello mushrooms.
將所有剩餘切好嘅材料加入慢煮鍋嘅豬扒中,以及半盒葡萄乾。(我知道好塞,煮嗻就會縮小嘅。)
Add all the remaining chopped ingredients, along with your half-box of raisins, to the pork chop mixture in the crockpot. (It might seem very packed at this point, but don't worry, it will cook down.)

Most of your time will have been spent on preparation, but it's well worth the effort. Keep a close eye on your crockpot, adding or removing liquid as needed.

Prepare the apricots by peeling, coring, and slicing them, unless you opted for dried, shrink-wrapped apricots. Add them to the crockpot mixture.
檢查豬扒同番薯嘅熟度。豬扒應該接近散開。如果達到呢個程度,舀出適量湯汁放入容器冷卻後冷凍備用作高湯。
Check the chops and sweet potatoes to ensure they're done. The chops should be tender enough to almost fall apart. Once they reach this point, carefully remove just enough broth into a container to cool and freeze for future stock.
喺呢個時候,小心地舀入等待中嘅果醬,一邊加入一邊攪勻裹勻。加完果醬並小心攪拌後,確保慢煮鍋調至最低溫度。
Now, carefully spoon in the preserves you've had waiting, stirring to coat everything as you add them. After you've finished adding the preserves and stirring carefully, make sure your crockpot is set to its lowest setting.

Once the mixture begins to bubble, all the vegetables and everything else should be fully cooked.

Carefully scoop out a pork chop along with some of each ingredient that hasn't cooked away, such as your apples, apricots, and sweet potatoes, onto plates.
