蘋果醬燜豬扒先將調味豬扒煎香,再以炒軟的蘋果、蘋果醬、雞湯、黃糖及肉桂調成醬汁燜煮,甜鹹交融。
小鍋以中火加熱,加入牛油。蘋果去皮去核,切成一口大小,放入鍋中炒至軟身,約10分鐘。
Heat a small pan over medium heat and adding the butter. While the pan heats, skin and core the apple, then chop it into bite-sized pieces. Add the chopped apple to the pan and sauté for about 10 minutes, until the pieces start to soften.
待蘋果塊軟至合意時,加入蘋果醬及雞湯,拌勻後以中火燜煮。此時可加入可選材料(黃糖、肉桂粉、洋蔥粉或蒜粉)。
Once the apple pieces have softened to your liking, stir in the applesauce and chicken stock. Continue stirring until the mixture is evenly combined, then let it simmer over medium heat. At this point, you can add any optional ingredients.
另備平底鑊以中大火預熱。為豬扒調味,先煎一面10分鐘,轉中火,翻面後淋上蘋果醬料,再燜煮20分鐘。
In a separate frying pan, heat it over medium-high heat. Season the pork chops (or steaks) with the garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Brown the pork on one side for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, reduce the heat to medium, flip the pork chops, and then pour the apple mixture directly over them. Allow everything to simmer together for 20 minutes.

Serve the pork chops with mashed potatoes and a small salad. Enjoy your meal!
