Leafy greens purée blanches fresh greens briefly, then blends them smooth and stirs them into baby rice cereal for a gentle vegetable first food.
Rinse the greens thoroughly under running water; if you have time, soak them briefly before washing.

Bring water to a boil and add the greens. Blanching removes some of the oxalic acid and harsh flavours, among other benefits; for a fresh single serving, 1–2 heads are usually enough.
鍋內水燒開,放入蔬菜。焯水可去除食物中部分草酸,並去掉一些辛辣刺激的味道,好處很多。日常現做現吃,一般1-2棵便足夠。
Once cooked, lift out the greens — they are ready when the water turns green, the leaves soften and their colour deepens. Leafy greens break down easily with heat, so do not over-cook; a quick blanch is enough.

放入攪拌機打成泥。葉菜類本身水分較多,可以不用另加水,直接打成泥即可。
Blend to a fine, smooth purée; for babies just starting solids, blend it even finer.
打成細膩的泥狀便差不多了;若是剛開始添加輔食的寶寶,可以打得再細膩一些。
Stir into prepared rice cereal until evenly combined, then it is ready to feed to baby.
放入沖調好的米糊中,攪拌均勻便可餵給寶寶食用。
