香港一口法式吐司在白方包塗上花生醬切成小塊,沾蛋漿後落油炸至金黃,配牛油同楓糖漿。
將花生醬均勻地塗抹在兩片白方包上。切掉麵包的邊緣,再將每片麵包切成九小塊。
Spread peanut butter evenly on the white bread, trim off the crusts, and cut each slice into 9 pieces.
將兩隻雞蛋和1湯匙牛奶打散,製成蛋漿。把切好的麵包塊放入蛋漿中,確保每一面都均勻沾上蛋漿,再輕輕抹去多餘的蛋液。
Dip the bread into the beaten egg, making sure all sides are coated, then wipe off any excess.
在鍋中倒入100毫升橄欖油,加熱至油面開始冒泡。小心地將沾好蛋漿的麵包塊放入熱油中,炸約一分鐘後翻面,繼續炸至兩面呈現金黃色。
Heat the oil until it bubbles, then gently add the bread. Fry for about a minute, flip, and fry until both sides are golden brown.
將炸好的法式吐司取出,趁熱放上一小塊牛油,再淋上適量的楓糖漿,即可。
Plate up, top with butter and maple syrup, and serve.
