Spaghetti Bolognese tosses al dente pasta in a quick sauce of browned ground beef, fresh tomato, onion and shallot.
Bring water to a boil in a pot.

Add the pasta, cover the pot, and cook over high heat for 3-4 minutes.

Finely chop the onion and shallot. In a skillet, sauté them with a pinch of sugar until softened.

Add the tomato, cut into medium-sized pieces, along with the tomato sauce to the skillet.

After about 2 minutes, add the ground beef and cook until it is nicely browned.

Season with pepper and salt, then remove the skillet from the heat.
