Spicy Basil Ground Pork and Chicken stir-fries minced meats with pounded bird's eye chili and garlic, soy sauces, and fresh Thai basil leaves.
In a bowl, combine the ground pork and ground chicken. Add the light soy sauce and stir well to ensure it's evenly mixed. Using a mortar and pestle, pound the chilies and garlic together until they are finely crushed. Remove the basil leaves from their sprigs and set them aside.

Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the pounded chili and garlic mixture and stir-fry until it becomes fragrant and golden brown.
將鑊或大煎鑊以大火燒熱,加入植物油。油熱後,放入搗碎嘅辣椒蒜頭炒香至金黃色。
Add the ground meat mixture and continue to stir-fry until it is fully cooked through. Season the dish with sugar, fish sauce, and dark soy sauce, adjusting to your taste.
加入免治肉混合物,炒至全熟。用砂糖、魚露同老抽按口味調味。
Serve immediately. This dish pairs well with a side of omelet.
