Tropical Pineapple Teriyaki Chicken Dogs marinate chicken tenders in soy, sake, and mirin, then tuck them into buns with pan-fried pineapple and mayo.
Sprinkle the chicken tenders with both the soy sauce and sake. Let them marinate for about 5 minutes.

Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until done. Toward the end of cooking, add the mirin to give the chicken a beautiful, glossy finish.

Toast the pre-slit hot dog buns in a toaster oven. Once toasted, spread them with butter or margarine, then layer mayonnaise on top. (If you prefer, you can certainly skip the toasting step.)
