Garlic Shrimp Paste Steamed Clams na pinalamanan ng shrimp paste at karot ang halaan sa sotanghon, pinasingawan sa bawang-sili na oyster sauce.
Ibabad ang halaan sa tubig na may asin para mailabas ang buhangin, banlawan, lutuin hanggang bumuka at hanguin.
Soak the clams in salted water to purge sand, rinse clean, then cook until they open and scoop them out.
Magpainit ng mantika sa kawali, igisa ang dinurog na bawang, sili, toyo, oyster sauce at asukal para maging sarsa.
Heat oil in a wok, add the minced garlic, diced chilli, light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, and stir-fry into a sauce.
Haluin ang shrimp paste at hiniwang karot, pagkatapos ipalaman sa halaan.
Mix the shrimp paste with the diced carrot and stuff the mixture into the clams.

Arrange the stuffed clams neatly, place the softened vermicelli in the centre, spread the sauce over them and steam for 10 minutes. Finish with chopped spring onion.
