Potato and sweet corn chowder thickened with a flour roux of milk and chicken stock, finished with thyme and crisp bacon on top.
Blend half the corn with some of the milk into a puree.

Pan-fry the bacon and set aside. In the same pot, fry the onion until soft and fragrant, then add the minced garlic and thyme.
煎香煙肉拿起備用。原鍋炒香洋蔥至變軟有香味,加入蒜蓉和百里香。
Stir in the flour, then slowly pour in the chicken stock and milk, stirring until smooth and lump-free; the soup will visibly thicken.
落麵粉炒勻,慢慢落雞湯和牛奶,攪拌至順滑沒有顆粒,湯會明顯變厚身。
Add the corn kernels and corn puree, then the diced potato. Cover and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes until the potato is soft, stirring occasionally so it does not stick.
加入粟米粒和粟米蓉,放入薯仔粒,蓋蓋子小火煮10分鐘將薯仔煮軟熟,期間需要不時攪拌以防薯仔黏底。
Finally add the parsley. Serve topped with the crisp bacon and black pepper.
最後落番茜。上碟後撒上脆煙肉和黑胡椒即成。
