Steamed Chicken with Five-Finger Fig Root and Red Dates marinates chicken with soaked roots, red dates and ginger, then steams it over high heat.
Rinse the chicken and cut into pieces. Rinse the five-finger fig root and soak in clean water for 30 minutes. Pit the red dates.
雞洗淨切件,五指毛桃洗淨後用清水浸 30 分鐘,紅棗去核。
In a bowl, combine cooking wine, salt, light soy sauce and cooking oil to taste, and stir evenly.
碗中加入適量料酒、鹽、生抽、食油,攪勻。
Add the chicken to the seasoning, then add ginger slices, spring onion segments, red dates and goji berries. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
將雞肉放入調味汁中,加入薑片、蔥段、紅棗、杞子,攪勻醃 30 分鐘。
